In West African Country of Mali where vote tallying has begun after Polling stations closed at 6PM local time on Sunday.
During the day, citizens had voted on a new constitution which included main changes to strengthen the president's powers, reform institutions and recognise traditional authorities.
Some 8.4 million citizens were eligible to vote in the referendum.
Turnout, typically low in the country of 21 million, will be seen as an indicator of the junta's ability to restore stability and generate popular enthusiasm for its agenda.
