Ichhya is the founder of Pahichan Nepal, a non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering women with disabilities. In Nepal's patriarchal society, the stigma surrounding disabilities creates significant challenges for women. As a visually impaired woman herself, Ichhya passionately advocates for the rights of people with disabilities, particularly single and marginalized women, and champions the need for a disability-inclusive government.
