A quick video tutorial showing how to configure the Dolphin file manager in KDE.
To open the quick filter in dolphin hit [Ctrl] + i
You can also add a filter toggle to your toolbar which is what I normally do.
The only downside is that you will forget the shortcut like me.
To get the git diff working like I show in the video install meld.
sudo apt-get install meld
I forgot to show that Dolphin supports tabs. To open a new tab you can hit [Ctrl] + t just like you do in chrome or firefox. You can also right click on a folder and select open in new tab.
