Grand Union Canal: Windwill Bridge. - Brunel's last project before he died on 15 Sept 1859.
This 3 tiered structue is known as 'Three Bridges' and allows for the crossing of 3 modes of transport:
Road (Windmill Lane);
Canal (Grand Union);
Railway (South Western Railway, Brentford Branch Line).
Construction started in 1856. and was completed in 1859, 2 months before Brunel died.
