[1:40] Adding the resists
[3:01] Presoaking the yarn in plain tap water for 20+ min
[3:24] Dyeing the yarn in purple
Dilution of 1% stock solution of Electric Violet from Dharma. 3/4 cup of ~0.5% stock solution + 1/4 cup of 1% stock solution so about 1.5 g total of Electric Purple for 400 g of dye.
24 cups water + 4 T white vinegar
Add the yarn
After 20 min, add 4 more T white vinegar
