8th seed Ohio State went into the Rose Bowl against 1st seed Oregon as a 2.5 point favorite and looked the part. Jeremiah Smith took this short throw from Will Howard 40 something yards for a quick score. This put Ohio State up 7-0 early. Then from 40 somethings yards out again. Will Howard threw a strike to Emeka Egbuka for another touchdown to put Ohio State up 14-0. Following a 4th down stop, Ohio State took a shot to the 19 year old freshman phenom Jeremiah Smith for another 40 something yard touchdown to put the lead up to 21-0 for the Buckeyes! Oh I got the score wrong but it doesn't matter. This big run by TreyVeon Henderson put Ohio State up 31-0 in the Rose Bowl against Oregon. After another Ohio State field goal, Oregon converted some long 3rd downs and scored as time expired thanks to Traeshon Holden to only put Oregon down by 26 before the half. Then the Ducks drove down the field and scored quickly to make the score 34-15. Treyveon Henderson then jumped into the endzone to increase Ohio State's lead to 41-15.
