Welcome to Children's Dental and Orthodontics! Meet Dr. Atarodi - she grew up in Tehran, where her father was an anesthesiologist. From an early age, Dr. Atarodi was interested in the medical field and loved going to the dentist. In her family, dental hygiene was very important and her mother taught her the importance of good brushing. Dr. Atarodi says that it was in middle school that she decided that she wanted to become a dentist. She attended dental school in Tehran, where she met her husband. After working together as general dentists, they moved to Rochester where she did a AEGD and pediatric dentistry residency. After completing the residency program, she moved to Louisville where she was a full time teacher for the University of Louisville Pediatric department, teaching other dentists to become pediatric dentists. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, skiing and spending time with her husband and daughter. Meet Dr. Atarodi and the rest of our dental family today:
