It's another World cleanup Day where volunteers all around the world join forces to cleanup some of the garbage from our environment.
Although this is a wonderful idea, every day can be a cleanup day, and most importantly, every day we can make small efforts to reduce our daily waste.
So how can we all help to be part of the solution in order to have a cleaner planet?
It starts by believing that all of us as individuals have the power to make a difference, and all our daily efforts counts and goes a long way. So when it comes to waste, especially plastic waste, we should consider the waste management hierarchy, which is to:
RETHINK
REFUSE
REDUCE
REUSE
RECYCLE
