The most important mitzvah for a woman is modesty, but unfortunately, many women are fooled by Yetzer Hara and fail this test even in the frum world. Besides the infamous problem of Indian-hair avodah zarah, wig also presents the problem of immodesty.
When deciding how to cover our hair, we must ask ourselves: Does HaShem want me to cover my hair with others' hair and look unmarried? When poskim of precious generation allowed wig, did they mean the fancy wigs that look better than real hair today? Is it really worth it to suffering the hot temperature and cleaning of the wigs while it might leave a remark of immodesty and causing others to sin on my file in Shamayim?
We all want to be righteous in the eyes of HaKadosh Baruch Hu, so we have to use all our strength to overcome the Yetzer Hara and serve HaShem in the way He wants.
