How to cut Insulating Fire Bricks easily and safely with an ordinary electric mitre saw. I saved £240 by cutting these high temperature Grade 28 insulating blocks myself for an electric foundry (furnace) I'm building ( [ Ссылка ] ). Here I'll show you the technique to avoid all that nasty dust and achieve a precise finish.
A quick additional note not obvious in the video... any ordinary wood blade will work fine - but don't use your best one. This material will blunt blades so an old one is best. A keen edge isn't necessary as the material is so soft.
