(17 Aug 1984) GS CAS LIMA,PERU: Journalists demanding the release of inform-
22088426 mation by the Government on the fate of Jorge Ayala, a
1"VT+BVU newspaper reporter who disappeared while covering events
in the Ayacucho Province. The demonstration orderly
until riot police, using water cannon and clubs disperse
the 150 journalists during which several people were
severely injured.
