The whole point of this was to buy a cheap used laptop as a mobile photo backup device. This is a cheap "eBay certified refurbished" laptop I spent under $250 on that arrived to me in bad condition. I could have sent it back, but what's the fun in that? I repaired the issues along with upgrading the RAM and SSD. ;) I am an ebay affiliate, so this is very disappointing to see.
The seller was "mobileshark" which is one I'd suggest avoiding if you are still interested in checking out what ebay has to offer...
On the ebay site it says: "Certified refurbished: Like-new condition by manufacturer, plus a two-year warranty." The computer I got was absolutely not anything close to that. A few quotes from the actual listing I bought: "eBay Refurbished. All items are tested by qualified refurbishers and function as intended. Certified - Refurbished: The item is in pristine, like-new condition. It has been professionally inspected, cleaned, and refurbished by the manufacturer or a manufacturer-approved vendor to meet manufacturer specifications. The item will be in new packaging with original or new accessories. See the seller's listing for full details." See the main video for more information and important links!
