Big news for Konkan commuters...Kashedi tunnel on Mumbai-Goa highway has started traffic. According to the assurance given by Minister of Public Works and Guardian Minister of Sindhudurg District Ravindra Chavan, single lane for Kashedi tunnel traffic has started from today. This Kashedi tunnel, which starts from Bhogav in Poladpur, will exit at Kashedi in Khed. The total length of this tunnel is two kilometers and the total length of this tunnel is nine kilometers
The nine kilometer long Kashedi tunnel will save about 40 to 45 minutes of detour for the passengers. With the opening of this single lane tunnel, the commuters going to Konkan have got relief. Due to the tunnel, the distance from Kashedi Ghat in Khed taluka to Poladpur in Raigad district can be covered in just ten minutes.
कोकणात जाणा-यांसाठी एक मोठी बातमी...मुंबई-गोवा महामार्गावरच्या कशेडी बोगद्यातील वाहतूक सुरू झालीय. सार्वजनिक बांधकाम मंत्री तथा सिंधुदुर्ग जिल्ह्याचे पालकमंत्री रविंद्र चव्हाण यांनी दिलेल्या आश्वासनानुसार आजपासून कशेडी बोगदा वाहतुकीसाठी सिंगल लेन सुरू झालाय. पोलादपूर येथील भोगाव पासून सुरु होणारा हा कशेडी बोगदा खेड मधील कशेडी येथे बाहेर पडणार आहे. हा बोगदा एकूण दोन किलोमीटरचा असून या बोगद्याला असलेले रस्ते धरून हा सगळा मार्ग नऊ किलोमीटरचा आहे
नऊ किलोमीटरच्या कशेडी बोगद्यामुळे प्रवाशांचा सुमारे 40 ते 45 मिनिटांचा वळसा वाचणार आहे. हा बोगदा सिंगल लेन सुरू झाल्यामुळे कोकणात जाणाऱ्या चाकरमान्यना दिलासा मिळालाय.बोगद्यामुळे खेड तालुक्यातील कशेडी घाट ते रायगड जिल्ह्यातील पोलादपूर हे अंतर अवघ्या दहा मिनिटांत पार करता येणार आहे
