An investigation is underway after a deadly shooting in Sacramento County on Thursday evening. Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a shooting on the 6900 block of Stockton Boulevard just before 6:30 p.m. The person who initially called authorities said they had heard gunshots, and believed someone was shot inside a vehicle, officials said. The victim was taken to a hospital, but did not survive, the sheriff’s office said. Anyone with information is urged to call the sheriff’s office at 916-874-5115.
