Today I decided to use some of the spare wood I had laying around from building the quail hutch to convert the kid's old playhouse into a small chicken coop. I have two chickens, and its going to be cold here soon, so best to prepare! Turning a playhouse into a chicken coop is a pretty easy project, and you can do it in an afternoon - I show you that here.

This makeshift chicken coop made from an upcycled playhouse can be modified for warmer months simply by removing the plywood boards and replacing with chicken wire, or hardware cloth for added protection.
