We purchased 3 brand new Eago TB336 toilets for our new home in 2016. We have had to buy 10, yes 10 replacement toilet seats because the lids (never the ring) crack and break. It’s just me (180 lbs) and my wife (120 lbs) and we NEVER even sit on the lids for fear they will break. Sometimes they are cracked in shipping, sometimes we’ll hear a loud “POP” when nobody is in the bathroom and when we look the new lid has cracked. They charge $175-$200 for a replacement seat/lid. The US distributor Alfitrade will do nothing. We will need to buy 3 new toilets from another company as we have spent more on replacement seats/lids that we spent for the 3 new toilets. All Eago seat/lids are made from the same material and they all crack eventually.
