WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Pears
- Granulated and Brown Sugar
- Cinnamon
- Ground Allspice
- Cloves
- Vanilla Extract
- Lemon Juice
- Flour
- Baking Powder
- Butter
- Buttermilk
HOW TO MAKE PEAR COBBLER:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and have ready a 9x13" greased casserole dish.
2. Combine sugar, spices, and flour in the bowl. The flour is going to thicken up that cinnamon syrup on the pears and make it irresistibly gooey!
Add the sliced pears to the bowl, and toss to coat.
2. Mix the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in the bowl of a food processor fitted with a blade attachment.
3. Cut the butter into small cubes and add it to the dry mix. Pulse resembles small, pea-sized crumbs.
4. Then, stream in the buttermilk and pulse again until the dough forms.
5. Pinch small handfuls of the dough together, tear, and drop in small clumps onto the pear filling.
6. Bake for 45 minutes, allow to cool slightly before serving, and enjoy!
