Paul said: "I know for many including myself, that seeing the Northern Lights can be a wonderful natural experience but not everyone is lucky enough to see them regularly or at all. I like to record the time-lapse rather than just a photo to capture the movement as well as the colours. "There was a ‘red alert’ on the various Northern Light apps that a strong solar flare was causing a good display of the Aurora borealis in Scotland and far down into England too.
