With just one day before the 2020 Election, President Donald Trump and Democrat Joe Biden are focusing their campaign on critical swing states. Both campaigns have been hitting North Carolina and Pennsylvania particularly hard, with Trump holding three rallies in the Tar Heel State from Saturday to Monday.
On the final full day before Election Day, Biden will again be in Pennsylvania. In 2016, Trump won the state by just 44,000 votes, the narrowest margin in nearly 200 years, and political analysts believe Pennsylvania will be crucial for either candidates' hopes to win the White House. Complicating matters is the pandemic, with state election officials saying it could take several days to count every ballot. President Trump has repeatedly said the results should be official on Election Day, despite many states taking several weeks to certify their results.
Trump will start his day in Florida before making another campaign stop in Pennsylvania and Michigan. It will be his fourth stop in Michigan in recent weeks. Four years ago, Trump narrowly won Michigan, as he outperformed Hillary Clinton in nearly every swing state to win the presidency. Once again, Trump is counting on a strong Election Day turnout for a second term. #WakeUpCLT #2020Election #Vote
