Hey all.
In this video I'm taking a look at the TC Electronic JIMS 800. This is an amp sim pedal that simulates the sound of a Marshall JCM800 amplifier. It can be used direct to the mixer or interface or plugged into the FX return of your amp.
The JIMS 800 does a very convincing job of recreating the dynamic aggressive toppy 80's inspired tones of the JCM800. It has volume and gain as well as a three band EQ. It also has a bypass footswtich that can bypass the pedal or swithc between the clean and dirty sounds and it has a separate footswtitchable boost.
All in all a great solution if you need JCM800 tones direct.
