Make your own personal mister for a cool & constant spray of water to beat the heat. See how to make two versions of the patio mister on a personal use size plus several hacks & mods to Dial it in for your needs. The easiest version can be made for just over $1 but you can expand from there!
The Dialed In Mister version is great for use by a lounge chair, patio chair, folding chair or anywhere you need some cooled, moist air!
Key Materials (1/2" PVC parts & a brass mister nozzle):
- Brass mister nozzle (I got 20 on Amazon for just over $10 total)
- PVC end cap (1 for each nozzle used)
- 1/2" PVC pipe
- PVC T-connector
- PVC corner connector
- 3+ male PVC connectors
- 1/2" to 3/4" hose connector
- PVC elbow connector
- PVC cement (aka glue)
- Garden hose (if you don't already have one)
I used 1/2" PVC but you can use 3/4" too. My hose connection is ~3/4" so I had to convert the 1/2" pipe at the base with a 3/4" hose connector which makes it easier and more convenient to hook up. On the "Basic Mister" I had a 1/2" hose hook up so I was able to put the mister directly onto a hose for a handheld mister that works great!
