Truth be told, I haven't been interested in M.U.G.E.N. for the longest while. But there was a release some time ago that piqued my interest again... a son of Sparda to be precise... no, not Dante... Vergil. :D

One, bugya, has released a custom, hi-res sprited version of Vergil, of Devil May Cry fame. The character itself flows very nicely, and has been adapted to the fighting game engine quite well. I haven't played DMC3 in ages, but I'll take the word of others in that he's quite accurate to his source, without being a broken cunt. Helm Breaker, Devil Trigger, Judgment Cut, and all the good stuff is present and accounted for. :3

Equally ludicrous is the fact that he ALREADY has an AI patch for him. It's not quite "G.A.S.E." annoying, but the patcher still took liberties dicking around in Vergil's coding. The bottom line? He's become quite a lethal opponent, and while I don't agree with some things that have been done, he's a nice fight overall now. :/
