Hello everyone and welcome back to another deck guide!

Been a while since i last saw Hemdall get some play time, so i have put this list together incorporating him.

Round 1 you will look to play the discard package we have in this deck to synergize with our stratagem, which will provide us with good tempo to secure round control most likely. The cards that are a part of this package include: Skirmishers, Heymay Skalds, Morkvarg, Coral, Snowdrop and Birna. As we discard cards, coral will do random damage and as we draw cards Snowdrop will boost. Coral and Snowdrop will benefit from the mask stratagem particularly. You may also commit Skjall round 1 ensuring us a great target for Hjalmar in the subsequent rounds.

Obviously it depends on your opponents strategy whether you would wish to bleed them or not. Playing proactively into round 2 you can use our location card to spawn a Bear Witcher Adapt, and then because our deck is very reactive with all the control options we have, you can simply play out cards like Hjalmar, Bear Witchers etc as good targets appear.

At the end of a match you wish to save cards such as Champions Charge, Svanrige and Hemdall to synergise with our leader ability. Our leader gives us ensured blood thirst three so make sure you play it, timing it well for the above mentioned cards that require blood thirst three for optimal performance.

In terms of control options in this deck we have Hjalmar, stunning blow, 2x Gutting Slashes, Heatwave, spores and even Whale Harpooner.

The deck granted me a good win ratio, more wins than losses and is very much off meta, so hope you enjoy the different style.
