The temple, located in city’s congested Dhaarowal locality, is more than 1000 years old, according to the book ‘History of Sialkot’. The temple is located on a dune along Allama Iqbal Road and one has to climb up staircases to reach the building.



This State-of-the-Art magnificent hindu temple stands tall and strong in the heart of Sialkot city in Pakistan. It is over 1000+ year old building which does not serve as a temple/worship place now but It is a safe haven for the drug addicts who chillax here after the sun goes down. Inside the semi-dark room where, I believe , used to be the gorgeous statues of hindu gods and deities, I smelt urine and human feces today. Sad but true
