The Indonesian Ministry of Transportation provided a ferry, named KMP Sultan Murhum II, to serve short crossings between Kaledupa-Tomia and Tomia-Binongko ports in the Wakatobi Islands Regency, South East Sulawesi province. The presence of this ship is expected to facilitate the mobility of passengers and vehicles in the regency which consists of the islands. The ship has a carrying capacity of 100 Lane Meters of trucks and 265 passengers who are accommodated in panoramic rooms, lounges and open decks. KMP Sultan Murhum II has an overall length of 46.8 m, a width of 12 m, and a draft of 2.6 m and is equipped with main engines with capacities of 2x900 hp which can reach a trial speed of 13.2 knots and a service speed of 12 knots.
