This short video shows how I carpet the metal shell of my campervan (See links below for items used). I carpet all the bare metal in the Daihatsu Hijet I'm turning in to a camper van to give a nice neat professional look to the interior of the van. Carpeting the metalwork is important in a camper van as condensation can build up on cold metal surfaces allowing carpeted panels to get wet. By carpeting the metalwork it insulated the metal to protect against condensation forming in the van. The carpeting of the metalwork only takes a couple of hours to complete and the finish afterwards is transformational. I use stretch carpet and trim-fix high temperature spray adhesive
