Opposition leader Peter Dutton doesn’t need to reset his goals – he needs to set new values the Liberals can strive for and cherish, says former Labor minister Graham Richardson.
Mr Dutton needs to focus on getting these new goals “into the public” because no one knows what the Coalition stands for, Mr Richardson told Sky News Australia.
“Peter Dutton doesn’t have to reset himself, he just has to reset some of the goals of the Liberal party,” said Mr Richardson.
“No one really knows now what the Liberal party stands for – It’s very hard for anyone to define what the Liberal party stands for, as we speak.”
