Scunthorpe v Everton, R3, 15:00
Everton coasted into round four of the FA Cup as they outclassed Championship strugglers Scunthorpe at Glanford Park.
Louis Saha put Everton ahead from 20 yards early on but Chris Dagnall headed wide when well placed to equalise.
Jermaine Beckford saw a shot blocked as Everton took command, and he soon glanced in a header for the second.
A Michael Collins drive gave Scunthorpe hope but Seamus Coleman's header, Marouane Fellaini's shot and a Leighton Baines curler sealed an emphatic win.
The chances of a shock in Lincolnshire were always slim.
In addition to the 32 league places between the teams there was also the fact that Scunthorpe had lost their last six at home, without a win at their ground since late August.
