Multiple American food and beverage companies have suspended their business in Russia, as the invasion of Ukraine continues. McDonald’s, Coca-Cola and Starbucks have stopped operations in the country, while PepsiCo suspended its investments and sales of some of its beverages. This follows increased pressure on companies to speak out against Russia, with the hashtags “BoycottMcDonalds” and “BoycottCocaCola” trending on Twitter.
