Hi Unique Family,
In this video, I explore: SHOPPING in Malaysia's PLANNED CITY? | Putrajaya Ep2 | vlog malaysia, travel | Explore With Bolu
By the way, this is the second trip I will be taking to this beautiful and powerful city in Malaysia, Putrajaya. It is referred to as Malaysia's planned city, a term which I keep enjoy exploring. Although in this vlog, it seems there are some answers you might find as to why it is Malaysia's planned city. The city is so organized and has a lot to offer both tourists as well as Malaysians. It was an incredible experience to travel malaysia, especially visiting and shopping in its planned city.
At this time, Malaysia is on the recovery period in fighting the covid 19 situation and I must confess they've made a lot of progress, thus I see why they were able to do the impossible. Now, at the Recovery Movement Control Order, interstate travels has been restored around the country Malaysia. I will be traveling to other cities and even deeper parts of Malaysia to explore for you. Let me tell you a little more about this Malaysia's planned city- Putrajaya.
Putrajaya is Malaysia's third and latest Federal Territory. Built on an expansive marshland and former oil palm estate in Selangor, the city spans an area of almost 5,000 hectares and lies 25 km from Kuala Lumpur. Putrajaya takes over the administrative functions of the capital city Kuala Lumpur and is part of the Multimedia Super Corridor project of the Malaysian government.
There are several places that visitors can explore of which I have explored one in this video. Today, I explored the IOI city mall, a very classic and well planned shopping centre in Putrajaya. A lot of you have requested that I visit this IOI city mall in the planned city of Malaysia, Putra Jaya, thus I wondered how shopping in a planned city would really look like. Well, it seems the answer is in this vlog. Let me tell you briefly about the IOI city mall in Putrajaya, Malaysia.
IOI City Mall, situated just a 10-minute walk from Palm Garden Hotel, is a sprawling shopping, lifestyle and entertainment hub with hundreds of shops, a cinema, indoor ice-skating rink, and theme park in Putrajaya. Surrounded by lush greenery and shaded walking paths, the shopping centre also has colorful water fountains and presents a beautiful sunset view.
The 4 storey megamall, measures around 130,064 square metres, consists of 350 local and international retail outlets. Dining options are aplenty here as well with a wide array of local, Asian and western delicacies at popular outlets such as Starbucks Coffee, Texas Chicken, Absolute Thai, Burger King.
Transport to Putrajaya, and even generally around Malaysia is quite impressive as it is so easy to navigate the country even at very cheap rates. In this travel vlog, I used the KLIA transit train from KL Sentral to Putrajaya Central station. The train is a very comfortable one and more executive than LRT, MRT and others.
I have documented a lot in this vlog, episode 2 of the visit to Malaysia's planned city, especially the explore of the IOI city mall. I guess, you will enjoy it as it's unveiled. Obviously, I plan to give you a third episode of the visit to Putrajaya, Malaysia's planned city. Just watch this first.
I am pretty sure you will enjoy this exclusive presentation.
