How to propagate #coleus from stem cuttings? #coleusplant #coleuscutting
It is very simple to multiply coleus by taking cuttings from the parent plant. In this video I cut a stem and placed it in a glass of water. Roots start developing in 3-4 days. I used another cutting that was taken around 10 days ago and has developed excellent roots. I potted the cutting in a cement planter using garden soil (1), sand (0.5), compost (0.25) and cocopeat (0.25) as potting mix.
If your friend or neighbor has the coleus that you want in your garden, you can avoid buying a Coleus by just taking a cutting from their plant and propagate it as described in this video.
