Street Furniture Camp was organised by Vadodara Municipal Corporation to convert scrap to usable, user-friendly and thoughfully designed furniture. 18 renowned Architects of the city like- Dipen Gada, Ar. Hitesh Modi, Ar. Rahul Dalvi, Ar. Priyank Shah, Ar. Chetan Somani, Ar. Palak Desai participated.

As a tribute to the city, we at Dreamfoot, are developing a campaign that will showcase Vadodara and its unique offerings - art, culture, heritage. This video was created to share the memories of Street Furniture Camp that was organised in the city of Vadodara with an intention to integrate upcycled & innovative street furniture in the urban infrastructure.

Streetscape elements play an integral role in defining quality public spaces by guiding and engaging the users. In the given context that is the city of Vadodara, we saw a dire need for optimal solutions to revitalise public spaces in a sustainable manner. One such solution was working with the available scrap of Vadodara Municipal Corporation.

The creative pool of Architects and Designers in the city were invited to create something useful and meaningful and continuing the spirit of Vadodara in terms of value addition to the city.

The furniture is now integrated in the public places of the city of Vadodara.
