A full-hybrid deployment can only be successful if it is built on a properly-configured Exchange organization. Part of a properly configured Exchange organization is an on-prem Autodiscover record that is correctly setup and working as expected.
To ensure the existing on-prem Autodiscover is setup properly, go into the on-prem AD DNS and make sure that the Autodiscover host record points to private IP address of the on-prem Exchange server. Once you’ve confirmed that the internal Autodiscover record is configured properly, confirm that the public DNS for the email domain contains a CNAME record for Autodiscover that points to the external FQDN name for the on-prem Exchange server (mail.yourdomain.com).
