NEWPORT, Ky. (WKRC) - A murder case in Cincinnati finds its way across the river and police arrest a suspect.
Newport officers busted 24-year-old Dylan Hurt earlier Monday on Central Street. Cincinnati Police say Hurt is accused in the murder of 29-year-old David Norwood.
Norwood was found dead after a shooting on Cass Avenue in South Cumminsville on April 15. Leaunte Baltimore, 23, was also arrested in Norwood's murder on April 28.
In March 2019, Cincinnati officers said Hurt killed Joseph Brooks. The shooting happened in January. Brooks was shot in the back of his head and his body was found in the parking lot of a strip mall in South Fairmount. Hurt was found not guilty in a bench trial.
Hurt is currently in the Campbell County Jail.
