Johannes Gutenberg was one of the most influential inventors of all time. As a young man he was trained in metalwork, and he eventually turned to his life pursuit of inventing the printing press and printing his first book, which was a Latin Bible. Although he struggled financially for much of his life, Johannes Gutenberg's invention changed the world, as new ideas about government, religion, and education could now be spread very quickly to many different people all over the world.
