This video is about why a conditional discharge does not change the nature of the final charge. In other words, it does not dis-charge the charge. If you finished your case with a misdemeanor conviction, you will still have a criminal conviction regardless of completing the CD (conditional discharge).

The CD is a set of conditions (obligations) that the Court has ordered that you finish within a specific time line. Once completed you are discharged from further obligations and nothing more.
