Finance Minister Arun Jaitley says that the economic slowdown due to demonetisation will last for two months, at the maximum. He also insists that the economy will be back to its full swing once the process of re-monetisation gets completed.
Speaking at the Digital Economy Forum, Jaitley has said that the government anticipated the short-term pain due to the landmark move, but reiterated that the move will have lasting positive implications for the economy.
