(31 Jul 1952) A vast crowd of Roman Catholics were at Wembley Stadium for the climax of the crusade for family prayer, launched and directed by Father Patrick Peyton a young priest from America. Cardinal Griffin, Archbishop of Westminster, presided. A living rosary to symbolise the theme of the rally was formed in the arena by children from Catholic Schools.
