Calm has returned to the Kisumu-Nyando border after three days of clashes that left three people dead and hundreds of resident displaced and houses burnt. According to the residents, there is still fear of attack from their neighboring community and leaders are now urging the government to deploy more security personnel. Government spokesman Eric Kiraithe has however blamed leadership wrangles among the members of county assemblies, as the main trigger to the cross border clashes.
