Round 2 of the 2022 season was at Sonoma Raceway. This time the big battle was in the Super Touring class as the two CoolBoxx Audi R8s had to deal with a Red Panther Motorpsport VW Jetta driven by 6 time champion Gary Sheehan. The Touring Car class was not quiet either with a tight race between the GoGoGear.com Hyundai Genesis cars and the Red Panther Hyundai Genesis of Gary Trudeau as well as the Lion Raisin BMW of Josh Lion. Sportsman had a bunch of front runners including Justin Crickenberger's Honda Civic Si, Tom Lepper's K24 Honda Civic, and the Speed Traveler BMW 328i of Chris Evertsen.
