“I was born in Venice, in 1707, in a large and beautiful house, situated between the Nomboli and Donna Onesta bridges ..." writes Carlo Goldoni in his memoirs. The house, now a museum and education centre, holds testimonies about Goldoni's life in Venice, the customs of his time and his theatrical work. You are invited to take a journey into his theatre through scenes from his best known plays. A booklet will guide you through the whole journey. You can download it from their website as well: [ Ссылка ]
Also on display, an original puppet theatre, just like the one Carlo's father built for him, Marcello Moretti's costume for Harlequin in Giorgio Strehler's "Harlequin, the servant of two masters", etc.
At the end of the video you can also see the work of contemporary artist, Lorenzo Quinn, SUPPORT, displayed during the Venice Biennale 2017 to draw attention on the dangers of climate change.
