Titles read: "CINETOPICALITIES IN BRIEF".
Various locations of events.
In Cliff-On-Hoo, Kent, we see Mr Slater sitting with his small granddaughter on his knee. Various shots of Mr Slater riding to work along an old railway line on a trailer he has equipped with a sail to look like a small boat.
At a location named as 'on the Continent' (probably Vienna, Austria) we see a man and woman playing a new kind of racquetball game where participants strap a wooden box onto their hands and hit a ball with it.
At Chiseldon Government Training Centre in Wiltshire we see male students playing skittles against the local ladies at a pub skittle alley. An old man in a smock has a go and helps the men to victory; a man has a large cut out of Donald Duck hung round his neck. The male team sing their traditional war cry with gusto. The two team captains stand opposite each other - the man asks the woman what she thought of the game tonight. She says "Julius (Julian?), I think your skittles are marvellous!" and they hug as the rest of the crowd cheer. Interesting item with natural sound.
