Saddleworth Morris Men, from Oldham, dancing Northwest Clog Morris at the Artichoke, Moulton, Northants, during the 2010 Moulton Village May Festival.
This style of Morris is associated with Rushcart traditions in the North of England, where rushes were gathered once a year and transported , with ceremony, dancing and feasting, on a highly decorated cart, to the church. The rushes were used as a floor covering in the church for the rest of the year. Saddleworth Rushcart takes place in late August each year.
