Cerro Torre is a mountain shrouded in drama and controversy. David Lama’s attempt to free climb — without using aids — the ‘Compressor’ route is no exception. The resulting documentary "Cerro Torre: Snowball’s Chance in Hell" was the winner of the Best Film on Climbing award at the 2014 Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival.
