The law society of Kenya is offering to mediate in the row over the retirement of Deputy Chief Justice Kalpana Rawal and Supreme Court Judge Phillip Tunoi.
The Judicial Service Commission has also called an emergency meeting on Monday following two court decisions last week that have plunged the judiciary into crisis ahead of the retirement of Chief Justice Willy Mutunga next month.
