In September 2010, it was announced that broadcasting legend Tony Blackburn would take over Pick of The Pops from Dale Winton who had hosted the show since 2000. They couldn't have chosen a more appropriate DJ for this format, having been a previous presenter of the Sunday evening Chart Show on Radio 1.
This recording represents half of one edition of the show from May 2015 with the featured year of 1974.
