Hello bakers,
in this demo i teach you how to make the classic pudding Treacle Tart. I remember this having this when i was a child and that was some time ago! So i can only imagine how old it is.
It's a very rich sweet pudding and i like to have it with double cream but i've been assured custard it lovely to. This keeps very well (probably due to all the golden syrup!).
Also in case you're wondering in England (particularly the south east) 'Alright Treacle?' is used a lot!
