Crosta Pizzeria is a raved about artisanal pizza joint that was started in 2017 by Ingga Cabangon Chua and her Australian husband Tech entrepreneur Tommy Woudwyk. From humble beginnings as a container Van in Poblacion Makati it has expanded to a bigger branch in Salcedo Village and plans for 4 more branches around the metro. Crosta has been recognized as one of three pizzerias from the Philippines included in the list of Asia Pacific's best pizzerias in 2022 by 50 Top Pizzas and online Italian Guide. Crosta Pizzeria placed 32nd in the 50 Top Pizzas Asia Pacific, Wild Flour Italian ranked 38th, and A Mano was ranked 48th.
Crosta is Italian for Crust and as their names aptly suggests the star of the show is their signature sourdough crunchy crust which goes perfectly with their toppings combinations including cheese, meat based proteins, veggies and plant based proteiens with their US Supplier Beyond Meat Co.
From their menu we would highly recommend their Detroit Super Duper Supreme deep pan pizza with a cheese wall, Sicilian White Ass Pizza and Big Red Sicilian. Shoutout to Makati Mazz for the tip!
