The Downtown Denver Partnership is an economic development and place-management organization that strongly believes in an inclusive and active urban vision for Downtown Denver.
We have more than 600 member companies and a strong working relationship with our municipality, actively working together to apply best practices from cities around the world as we adapt and grow our city to meet this vision.
This year, our contingent of 150 executive business and civic leaders traveled to Boston. With the help of many community leaders of Boston, we facilitated conversations and experiences to learn about the history of the city, its people, notable urban and community developments from its history, and how the city is looking to advance in the future.
Our four (4) Learning lenses this year are focused around:
A City for Youth: Putting youth at the center of community development | Prioritize the needs and perspectives of the youth in urban development initiatives.
Distinctive Districts: Beneficial actions that support cultural clusters and neighborhood identity | How to preserve and enhance the unique character of various districts.
Policy and Development Inflection Points: Evaluating tactical and pivotal actions that have changed trendlines and redefined urban experiences | Analyze those key moments and decisions that have shaped Boston's urban landscape.
Equitable Economic Growth: Fostering inclusive development strategies that benefit all residents | Ensure that economic growth is accessible and beneficial to all socioeconomic groups.
