■ PERU, SACRED VALLEY: As I was making my way through Peru's famed Sacred valley, after the city of Urubamba, I started heading over the mountains towards Cusco. Having not had any breakfast as usual (because hotel breakfasts ALWAYS suck) I had decided to put my food intake on a hold until I'd reached my final destination.
Those plans however flew out the window as I spotted a delicious juicy pork being roasted on the street as I came around a bend. After 3 weeks in the country it was finally time for a genuine Peru street food experience and my first pork o'clock!
